Light Bulb Collection, Update 3

Update: insomniacdesign.com/ paid for a two year contract to use this on their site. How awesome is that!?

I just changed some bulbs for some others this time.

If you’re interested in these bulbs, here are some details:
From the back row: 1000bulbs.com/category/s14-sig… ; 1000bulbs.com/product/54666/IN… ; The third is a repeat of the first.

The second row are genuine 10 watt antiques. Got 5 of them on eBay as a lot, and though the filament in each one is technically broken, 4 of them still light up as the filament just shorts against another part of itself to complete the circuit. The vacuum tubes on top of the smaller bulbs are the real deal with cotton wads in the base of the bulbs.

The third row: 1000bulbs.com/product/65391/IN… ; The center bulb is a 25 watt microwave oven bulb made before the time they replaced the remaining oxygen in lightbulbs with inert gases so the filament wouldn’t oxidize; The bulb on the right is a hard to find 25 watt decorative figural chandelier bulb. A modern day equivalent (but with a candelabra base and different shape) would be this: 1000bulbs.com/product/7639/IN-…

I have more actual antiques than this, carbon bulbs also, but I only have so much space at a time to display them unfortunately.
