Man Cave Sewing Room Final by adamlhumphreys Man Cave Sewing Room Final by adamlhumphreys
The Man Cave Sewing Room finally complete and furnished after one whole month! :iconraritystunnedplz::iconapplejackshockedplz: ... :iconrarityfaintplz:
Well, I have another storage thing to put together, (just like the one under the circuit breaker box), but that’s no biggie. :iconraritypfftplz: [Done.] Now that this, (unnecessary IMHO), project is done, hopefully I can start sewing again Monday! :iconrarityishappyplz::iconapplejackplz:

WIP pics in my scrapbook:…

Tidbits of trivia:
-The microwave was the one I fixed that was in the kitchen forever until my mom decided she liked the smaller one that was meant to temporarily take its place.
-I got the fridge from my high school art teacher back when I was in high school.
-The ceiling fan we had laying around, (and actually we have another one somewhere ).
-The chair my dad got from work when they were having a giveaway.
-We were going to use an air conditioner that was 10 years older than me, (manufactured in 1976), but the motor started squeaking and then it wouldn't start spinning, so it was either the motor bearings or a startup capacitor, but we didn't want to mess with it.
-The lights have their own circuit, the microwave/fridge have their own circuit (also connected to the two outside sockets), the A/C heater have their own circuit (with a socket at each window), and the regular sockets, (three on each long wall, two on each short wall), have their own circuit.

EDIT: I have since added an amp and speakers we already had on hand.

hah, a room for sewing ponies. just awesome.

I don't even have a separate drawing table =P I don't even bother putting my laptop somewhere else, so I draw on my desk full of various things I don't really need at the moment :P

Heh, it is pretty cool, but it only exists because my mom wanted her family room back as a family room (a nice empty and unproductive space). :stare: Sometimes I wish I were still inside. It's annoying to have to go out to it during the winter. (Plus the fridge died after that ice storm we had. But that's not a biggie.)

Nothing worng with that. I'm trying to optimize my space again. Currently in the process of cleaning my very dusty bedroom and might rearrange things. I'd like to be able to do some sewing inside. But then I wouldn't have a dedicated soldering station. Not sure what to do! :eager:

:XD: Glad you like it! I admit minky fuzz collects on the floor, but it naturally clumps up so I can grab it and throw it away. It's just a habit that I always keep my fabric neatly folded.

It definitely helps with efficiency!

If nothing else though, you can always put things in close proximity. I would've been content with using the family room, but my mom wouldn't hear of it. :O
