Wallet of Generosity

The story behind this is my old wallet was coming apart, so I thought “I can fix that,” which led to “wait, I could make my own, built the way I want it,” and finally “WITH PONIES!”

It’s lightweight, made from one cut of denim, and double stitched together with heavy-duty nylon thread, (which is a pain to sew with by the way, especially through 8 layers of denim ). Obviously this is my first try and it needs a bit of a pattern tweak and I need to work on precision sewing with thick thread/fabric. I only had black velcro on hand, so I used that.

Overall though I think it will last a while, at least that was my primary goal for going out of the way to make my own in the first place. It better last! I guess I’ll just have to test it. Also, my dad likes it and wants a black one with our Triple-H ranch logo on it. Plus the stitch work on black probably won’t be as obvious. Needless to say, there's not much money in it.
