──◊──┤ General Usage: ├──◊──

I typically embroider eyes at 100% size, (since that’s the size of my normal pattern), using minky fabric with regular tearaway stabilizer on the bottom and plastic wrap over the top. I have embroidered some eyes at 133% size without a problem for my 18” plushies and 60% size for my beanies. These designs have compensation built-in but also assume your machine is in good working order. Results may vary depending on your machine's configuration, therefore pictures are for reference only, showing my results using a Brother SE-400 and PE-770 using the DST file format under varying, though similar circumstances.

Would you like to see more patterns, embroidery files, or perhaps an electronic plush kit?

I believe the SE-400 was $330 at the time, and my first PE-770 was $530 on sale IIRC. However, for some reason, overseas the seem to cost at least twice as much. :O I believe it's because the come with the design software, but I use the only embroidery design freeware for that. If you're looking, I might be willing to sell my SE-400, but I'm honestly not sure how it'd fare going that far, (though I'd do my best at packing it).

No probs! Also, applique isn't too bad once you get the hang of it. :)

I really hate trying to make my own embroidery patterns. This will come in handy once I start plush making. I just don't have as much time to make anything. :/

I still have the Chrysalis brushable. Let me tell you, she has been quite the pain. Her gradient effect on her vest thing is certainly being a pain. I almost got it though.

Heh, gradients are always a pain on mediums other than digital it seems. ^^ Cool to hear though. :)
