Old Faithful by adamlhumphreys Old Faithful by adamlhumphreys
An old microwave over service bulb before the time argon gas was used to prevent oxidation of the filament onto the bulb, thus darkening its glow and making it reflective. Ö Yes, I burn it because itís shiny and awesome! :D

I also have a few 24V miniature ~T3 bulbs like this from my dadís dad. :)

The new stuff:

Hmm. Well, the bulbs I saw at Lowe’s were about ~$7 for a single bulb. 1000Bulbs.com has some for a bit less starting from ~$4, but shipping for me is usually around $10-11 regardless of how much I order (so I usually make big orders and had to order these guys for my custom studio light [link] :O).

But $15 for two and free shipping doesn’t sound too bad.
