You can buy the pattern on Etsy here: www.etsy.com/listing/254846644…

What are you giving away?

3 copies of my pony plush sewing pattern... yes, the one I used to sew my older plushies. :iconraritysmile2plz:

Pinkie Pie 4 (and Pattern) by adamlhumphreys
Pinkie Pie WIP by adamlhumphreys

Pattern will include horn and basic wing shapes.

Changes and Updates:

  • Pattern to be given away is now H20, B21, UB18. See fav.me/d9aozy0 for details why.
  • Journal/deviation/post titles must include “pony” or “plush”, “pattern”, and “giveaway” in the title where applicable. (Doesn’t retroactively apply to previous entries.)

How do I enter?

1. Post about this giveaway as a thumbnail and/or link in a journal, poll, deviation, blog post, or whatever. Journal/deviation/post titles must include “pony” or “plush”, “pattern”, and “giveaway” in the title where applicable. You can enter multiple times on multiple websites, including DA, Facebook, tumblr, YouTube, Twitter, etc. with a minimum span of 5 days between posts of the same website. Other entry methods may be introduced later.

2. You must be a watcher. Please only watch if you’d actually like to see more of my work, or at least participate in future giveaways.

How do I submit my entries? IMPORTANT!

Leave a comment on this journal entry with your entries in the specified format below! When you have more entries, leave another comment. Because this giveaway allows for many opportunities to accumulate entry points, I’ll be dealing with a lot of data, (or at least I hope so ^^), that will need to be processed. In order to process that data easily, it needs to be formatted properly. Here’s the format for a single entry line:

{DA username} {URL without the ‘h’ in front}

DA username - Plain text. Not :devuser-name-goeshere: or :iconuser-name-goeshere: . No colons.
URL - Link to your link/poll/journal/post/deviation/video/etc. Do not include the first ‘h’ of the “http://” or “https://” ! Why? Because deviantART will turn it into an actual link and truncate it, and that makes it hard to copy paste as text. Don’t use 3rd party URL shortening sites not associated with the site you actually post on. If you want to include the actual links with the “http://” or “https://”, just do it in another part of the comment. All I need are the lines I can copy paste.

When a winner is selected, I’ll check each post for details, (this means I’ll need to be able to see Facebook posts while logged into Facebook, so take note of the privacy setting of the post).

How is the winner chosen?

A random number generator. All entry lines will be pasted into a spreadsheet or a PHP script. I’ll get a number back, check the entry username, and check  links to make sure they’re legit. If not, then I’ll try again. Step and repeat until I have 3 official winners. :)

What about the plush?

For this giveaway, the prize is just a pattern, however when you submit entries for the next giveaway, (the actual plush giveaway), entries to this giveaway will be cumulatively added to that giveaway! The prize will be a completed regular sized pony plush of any of the mane 6 or Chrysalis, biped/anthro or regular (though I’d really prefer a biped :eager:, particularly Chrysalis). If you win this giveaway and don't want a pattern you can opt out to keep your entries for the completed plush giveaway. :)

When is the deadline?

Halloween, October 31, 2015 at 8:00pm CST Winners will be announced shortly thereafter and my pattern will then be made available for sale.

When will your pattern be for sale? How much?

If you don’t win, you will still be able to buy my pattern. It’ll probably be $17. You can buy it from me directly via PayPal, via Etsy download, and also on deviantART for 1700 points. I’ll address more details about my pattern as time progresses.

Why are you selling your pattern or doing this giveaway?

Pattern Giveaway Preamble
So, my 29th Birthday came and went. 30 is next. Before I know it I’ll be 60! :O … No, I’m serious. :iconrarityawkwardplz: I want to thank everyone again for wishing me a happy birthday! :thanks: Anyway, on May 5, 2012 I made a decision that would change my life. I bought this amazing Rarity plush:

From that time I wanted to make an awesome pony plush! My original idea was to make a pattern others could use. At the time I didn’t have a clue how difficult it truly was and honestly felt like giving up on a number of occasions. When I didn’t feel like giving up, I felt stagnant and slow. I imagine a lot of artisans are familiar with that feeling. I’m still fall far behind and acknowledge I’m not as good as many plush artisans out there, but having received good feedback form Fluttershy, I’m finally ready to make my next big move.
Eventually I want to start a family of my own, I even have someone particular in
